At Microverse, we care about our students and strive to create a learning environment where everyone can feel at ease and comfortable. We are committed to making participation in our courses a harassment-free experience for everyone regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation. This code of conduct is in place to ensure that all students treat their fellow students and mentors with respect and engage in a professional manner.
We encourage our students to add to the positive learning environment with the following:

Any material that suggests illegal activity or contains illegal content is also forbidden. Any harassing or threatening of another student or mentor is not allowed and will not be tolerated.
Additional examples of unacceptable behavior include but are not limited to:

Trust is at the core of any learning institution; staff and mentors need to trust that students did the assignments and students need to trust that mentors and staff have their best intentions in mind. Being an online program, trust is even more important to our ability to instruct and learn from one another. To this end, we have created an Honor Code, by which all members of the Microverse community must abide. Trust between students, mentors, and staff enriches the widespread collaboration that commonly occurs. The Honor Code deepens bonds between students and encourages a sense of personal responsibility that extends beyond the coursework.
The Microverse Honor Code is a declaration by the entire Microverse community, from students to mentors to staff, that everyone at Microverse will refrain from stealing, lying, or cheating on assignments, assessments or any coursework in the curriculum. Stealing is the intentional taking of any property without right or permission. Lying is intentional misrepresentation of any form. Cheating is any practice, method, or assistance, whether explicitly forbidden or unmentioned, that involves any degree of dishonesty, fraud, or deceit. Cheating includes plagiarism, which is representing another's ideas or words as one's own.
Each Microverse student is honor bound to report immediately all violations of the Honor Code of which the student has first-hand knowledge; failure to do so is itself a violation of the Honor Code.
By visiting and using this website, microverse.org, or any related services offered by Microverse, you acknowledge that you agree to the Honor Code.
On my honor, I have neither given nor received any unauthorized aid or information regarding this work. I have followed and will continue to observe all regulations. I am unaware of any violation of the Honor Code by others and if I do become aware I will report the violations immediately.
Violations of the Honor Code may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to account suspension, account banishment, or any other action deemed necessary by Microverse.
